One morning in the summer of 2005, Jocelyn Tiedemann awoke to discover she had become an avid aviation enthusiast, overnight.
Not long after, on a nearly-perfect October afternoon, she took her first flight lesson. Since then she’s achieved her private pilot’s license, with goals to one day become a certified flight instructor and a licensed airplane mechanic.
In the meantime, Jocelyn strives to stay deeply involved in the aviation community through the flight school, as well as volunteering at the Pacific Coast Air Museum. She enjoys sharing her experiences with students and pilots alike. She boasts that she loves her job because "it’s all airplanes all the time. It’s Paradise.”
